Lindsey Palardy is Chief of Staff for the Office of Low Earth Orbit Observations. She is a seasoned policy, planning, and communications professional with extensive experience across both government and nonprofit sectors. Lindsey joined NOAA in 2018 as a policy and communications specialist for the NOAA Marine Debris Program and most recently served as the communications team lead for the Office of Space Weather Observations.
Lindsey began her career in government relations at the Pew Charitable Trusts, followed by roles in policy consulting and nonprofit development and communications. Trained in environmental science and law, Lindsey’s expertise lies in policy and legislative analysis, organizational planning and evaluation, and strategic communications. Lindsey enjoys leading and empowering cross-functional teams, and she is happiest when helping others.
Lindsey holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a M.A. in Environmental Studies from Brown University, and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
