NOAA's next-generation polar-orbiting weather satellite, JPSS-1, is on the launch pad! In these images, courtesy of the United Launch Alliance and NASA, the satellite is encapsulated atop the Delta II rocket that will take it into space tomorrow (11/14) morning at 1:47 am PST (4:47 am EST).
